Account Settings

Your account settings can be accessed by clicking your username in the top right hand corner of the screen:

From your account page you can:

Using your API Keys

There are two API keys which you can copy and paste from your account page:

  • Internal API Key is used for our free “login” application. You will be asked for this should you choose to run the software.
  • External API Key is used for third party services, notably crawling services such as:
    • Nuclear Link Crawler
    • LinDexed
    • LinkLicious

Changing your password:

To change your password scroll down to the “Change Password” block and:

  1. Enter your existing password
  2. Enter your new password
  3. Confirm your new password
  4. Click the “Change Password” button

(Hardly worth explaining, but we like to offer a complete service :D )

Changing Layout Options:

Our system allows you to switch between vertical and horizontal navigation using a “switch layout” link in the navigation. From your profile you can disable / enable this link and set a default that will be used for every future login. So, if you prefer to use vertical navigation and never need to use an alternative layout (on a different device) you can set that as the default and remove the in navigation switcher.

Changing your Scheduling Options

  • AutoBacklinksDaily has two separate types of scheduling Basic and Advanced
  • You can only use one or other of the scheduling options at any given time
  • You can change type at any time via your account settings page, but we suggest after testing you decide on one type and stick to it

Report Email Options

These options allow you to configure the email messages used to send out daily link reports (should you choose to use them).

Auto Backlinks Daily allows you to:

  1. Set up auto emailing of link reports each day
  2. Have reports emailed directly to your own email address
  3. Set your own “From” address in reports in place of our “@autobacklinksdaily.com” address
  4. Have reports emailed directly to your clients address
  5. Send every report to a different client
  6. Turn email reports on or off on a per project basis

The options for emailing reports are split between your account page (where defaults are set) and the individual project settings (where you can override default settings and turn reports on / off on a per project basis).
